Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: · Version: 2026-10-05 · Previous versions
This policy is part of the Terms of Service. Rudud is a tool that sends private replies in your name to people who comment on your posts. What you send is your responsibility. What follows is the line we do not allow anyone to cross, because it harms recipients, breaks Meta's rules or the law, or puts your account and others' at risk of suspension.
1. Prohibited content in replies
Do not send through Rudud any content that:
- violates Instagram's Community Guidelines or the law in your country or the recipient's;
- is fraudulent or misleading: fake giveaways or prizes, unrealistic earnings claims, misleading investments, or offers you do not intend to honor;
- is phishing, malware, or links to pages that impersonate others or harvest credentials;
- impersonates a person or organization, or implies it comes from Instagram or Meta;
- contains harassment, threats, hate, discrimination, sexual content or violence;
- promotes restricted or prohibited goods or services: drugs, weapons, tobacco, unlicensed gambling, prescription medicines without prescription, forged documents;
- targets minors or collects their data;
- infringes anyone's intellectual property.
2. Prohibited conduct
- Sending repetitive or unwanted messages, or using keywords so generic that any comment triggers a commercial reply nobody asked for.
- Messaging people who did not comment, or circumventing Meta's limits or time windows by any means.
- Messaging people who asked not to be messaged.
- Scraping, or storing commenter data outside Rudud for purposes unrelated to answering their comment, or selling or sharing it.
- Using the Service with Instagram accounts you do not own or lack explicit permission to manage.
- Reselling access to Rudud, sharing your account, or automating access to the Service with external tools.
- Attempting to breach, disrupt or security-test the Service outside the Vulnerability Disclosure Policy.
- Evading a suspension we imposed by creating a new account.
3. Meta rules that apply to you
By connecting your Instagram account through Rudud, you agree that Meta data is processed under Meta's Platform Terms, including: no selling or licensing of Platform Data, no building profiles of people, no surveillance, no use of the data for eligibility decisions (credit, employment, housing, insurance), and no processing beyond the purpose for which the person shared their data.
4. Automated reply disclosure
By default we add a short line to every private message stating that it is automated. You may turn it off, but some laws require the disclosure, and the responsibility is then yours.
5. What we do on violation
Depending on severity: a warning, stopping the automation, blocking a link, suspending the account, or terminating it. Serious violations (fraud, phishing, content targeting minors) lead to immediate termination, and we may report them to authorities or Meta. We notify you of the reason by email, and you may appeal to support@rudud.app within 14 days.
6. Reporting abuse
If you received an abusive message through Rudud, or see a violation, email abuse@rudud.app with the account name and a screenshot. We respond within 5 business days.
