Rudud sends an automatic private message to everyone who comments on your Instagram post with the word you choose, through Meta's official APIs.

Linking your Instagram account
You need a professional account (Business or Creator). Meta does not allow automated messages on personal accounts, and switching to a professional account is free in Instagram's own settings.
Linking goes through Meta's official login: you are taken to Instagram, sign in there, approve the permissions, and come back to Rudud with your account linked. We never see or ask for your Instagram password.
Why didn't a reply arrive?
The most common reasons, in order:
- The word in the comment doesn't match the automation's keyword. Check the keywords you set, how they are matched, and which posts the automation runs on.
- The automation is paused. Make sure it is active in your automations list.
- The account needs relinking. If your dashboard says your account's link has broken (for example after a password change, or a removed permission), relink it from the dashboard.
- That comment already got a reply. Only one private reply is sent per comment, so the same comment never gets a second one.
Meta's limits
These are Meta's rules, not ours, and we can't get around them:
- One private reply per comment.
- Within 7 days of the comment. After that, Meta no longer allows a private reply to it.
Deleting your account
In the Rudud iPhone app: go to Account and choose Delete my account. Or email us at support@rudud.app from the address registered on your account.
What gets deleted: your Rudud account itself, your sessions, and the devices registered for notifications. Every linked Instagram account is disconnected: its access token is deleted immediately, and its automations, people and remaining data are deleted within 30 days.
