Copyright Policy (DMCA)
Last updated: · Version: 2026-10-05 · Previous versions
We respect intellectual property rights and respond to notices of copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Rudud does not publish content to the public, but the automation texts our users write, and the links in them, pass through our Service.
Designated agent
To be designated, once registered with the U.S. Copyright Office.
Email: legal@rudud.app, with the subject "DMCA notice".
Submitting a notice of infringement
Send the designated agent a written notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature, as the rights holder or a person authorized to act for them.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the infringing material, specific enough for us to find it: the Instagram account name, and the automation text or link.
- Your contact details: name, address, telephone number and email.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.
When we receive a complete notice, we remove or disable access to the material, notify the user concerned, and send them a copy of the notice.
Submitting a counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, send the designated agent a counter-notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your district (or any district in which Rudud may be found, if you are outside the United States), and your agreement to accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.
We forward the counter-notice to the person who submitted the original notice and restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving it, unless they tell us they have filed a court action.
Repeat infringers
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright. Three valid notices within 12 months that are not answered by a counter-notice lead to account termination.
False notices
Anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents in a notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages under section 512(f) of the Act.
